Life Is A Gamble, So Roll The Dice

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

It’s a slogan that we all know and love, isn’t it?! Las Vegas is a city of sparkling lights, wild fun, and endless memories — hopefully, you remember all of them!

If you haven’t had the chance to visit in a while, you’ve missed out on a lot! In addition to luxurious hotels, unmatched casino experiences and a plethora of opportunities for the perfect selfie, Vegas is expanding into a town with professional sports teams and activities that will extend your weekend getaway.

You’re daydreaming about your next trip right about now, huh?

Vegas has always had a special place in my heart. I spent a year in the city attending high school as my dad transitioned between jobs. Never in a million years did I think that I would take a gamble and move back.

But that’s all about to change!

The last few weeks have been a total wild card. I’ve always said that every ending is a new beginning and for the first time in my life, I bet big. I quit my job on a whim and rolled the dice for the chance to set my life on a new path. With no job nor the promise of a new opportunity, I was taking a huge risk but I set my sights high and went for gold.

Luckily for me, the universe called my bluff and offered me the opportunity of a lifetime!

In what feels like the blink of an eye, my boo and I will be packing our bags and moving to settle into our new home in Sin City! We are planning to apply for our first house, spend time with my local family, and add a new fur baby to our family — Mamas, our guinea pig needs some company while we’re away making bacon! We are unbelievably excited for the next chapter in our story and can only imagine what’s to come.

I was dealt a great hand and I’ll be taking an incredible job managing the marketing for over 10 properties on the strip and I couldn’t be more excited! My boyfriend was able to land a job that he’s worked so hard for as well so we are prepared to grow professionally and plan for world domination.

What is life if not a gamble?

The last few months have taught me so much about myself, my relationship, and my career goals and this adventure makes me feel like a winner! We put our lives on the line for something uncertain, and just like in Vegas, we went for broke (quite literally!).

It’s going to be SLOTS of fun and I can’t wait to see what doors will open and the memories that I’ll be making in the entertainment capital of the world.

xoxo ❤

      2. No way! Fancy that. Well, absolutely do not hesitate to give me a call or a text. Once I learn more about the specifics of my role, I may have discounts for a handful of the hotels on the strip and I would love to treat you both to a good deal. Let me know 🙂

  6. Congrats, and best wishes, Paige!

I was married in Sin City 21 years ago (two friends and two moms accompanied us) and re-upped my vows to the beautiful Mrs C last summer in the same place (with about 40 people in attendance, this time). Wonderful town!

Here’s to gambles that pay off! Or, as I like to say, “everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas … except my marriage.” 😉
