You asked, and I answered!
I’ve been making tons of new friends here in the blogosphere and I’ve been asked so many cool questions along the way! Get to know me a little more and see how I match up.
Allow me to hop in the hot seat.
What movie title would best describe your average day?
I’ll be honest — I had to look through my movie collection to answer this one and I’m still drawing a complete blank. A big fat zero in my brain. The only thing that comes to mind is a few quotes from One Tree Hill.
What is your favorite song at the moment?
I’m a hardcore Ariana Grande fan (no shame). If you ever have the opportunity to pull up next to me at a red light and I look like I’m auditioning for The Voice, there’s a 99% chance that I’m singing an Ariana song #sorrynotsorry.
So at the moment, I am absolutely loving her Christmas carol Snow in California from her Christmas Kisses EP.
What is your pet peeve?
Yikes! I actually have a few of them. I’m not a huge fan of grimy nails. (Yuck). Nails that are just a little too overgrown and have dirt jam-packed under the nailbeds. Because the mere idea of yucky nails bothers me so much, I used to have a terrible habit of biting my own to avoid seeing it. Luckily for me though, I discovered a magical place called the nail salon and was introduced to something called a manicure. Problem solved.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you move to?
Mannnn. This is a tough one. There are so many places that I dream to visit, let alone pack up and move to. I would have to say the Caribbean. The white sandy beaches, crystal blue ocean, and a climate that’s warm year-round are just to die for.
Spontaneous trip anyone?
What is your dream holiday?
Hands down, Christmas is my favorite holiday! The entire month of December is magical to me. The spirit of the holidays, music, classic movies and the FOOD make me bananas. It just doesn’t get any better than a full 25 days of love and giving.
What was your first pet and its name?
As a kid, I was known for always having a new pet. From blue lobsters and rainbow crabs to dogs and guinea pigs, I had them all. But the first and most special pet was my Yorkie, Charlie Brown. He was my first “child” and we were inseparable. He knew my every move, thought, and behavior. There’s a reason why they call dogs a (wo)man’s best friend.
Are you a morning person or night owl?
I’m actually a little bit of both. I don’t have a concept of nighttime in the evening because to me, it all feels the same. For example, it’s currently it is 2:27 a.m. here in Phoenix and here I am…blogging. But let me tell you, I sleep like a rock. So when I’m out, I’m out. My boyfriend can attest to the fact that I can fall asleep anytime and any place. Once I start seeing Z’s and counting sheep, I’m out cold.
In the morning, I’m usually very energetic and ready to conquer the day ahead! If my seventeen alarms are actually able to wake me from my coma, I’m up and prepared to take over the world!
Would you rather spend New Years in the city or in the comfort of your own home with family?
I’m a pretty outgoing person so I would much rather spend New Years in the city surrounded by people. There’s just something about the energy of everyone celebrating the dawn of a new year that I just can’t get enough of.
Iced coffee or Iced tea?
You know what, I don’t really have a preference. If I could choose outside of these two, I’d say juice or lemonade. I have to be in the mood to enjoy a cold glass of iced tea and I have to be careful with coffee — when I’m daring enough to flirt with coffee, I’m like the modern day energizer bunny! It takes me forever to shake the jitters from the caffine.
Coke or Pepsi?
Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi! Although I do appreciate a sweet Coca-Cola commercial.
Give one tip for a fellow blogger or new blogger.
I’m no expert, but from my experience, the best advice I can give is to never lose sight of your love of writing. Stay true to yourself and your voice and you’ll never stop loving it. If you focus on capturing your thoughts and telling a story, the inspiration will pump through your veins and give you that warm fuzzy feeling (kinda like peeing your pants).
Thank you to all of the incredible bloggers that continue to support me here on The Pages of Paige and for asking these fun questions! Please make sure that you pay them a visit and show them some love!
