And the nominee for the Liebster award goes to…The Pages of Paige.
*and the crowd goes wild*
As you may know, the blogging community is full of supportive writers who generously take the time to encourage, empower, and promote other aspiring bloggers. This award is an opportunity to highlight the great words being shared from all of you talented souls.
December 18, 2017, during my drive home from work, I was stressing my vocal cords singing to Whitney Houston classics (I wouldn’t have done her justice if I wasn’t), as I noticed a new notification from WordPress.
I promise that I waited until I was at a complete stop to check it! But I’ll admit, I was so excited that I literally wanted to leap out of my seatbelt.
The wonderful Rysie from rysieblog nominated me for the Liebster Award!!
Rysie, I want to take this time to thank you, from the bottom of my pumping heart for thinking of me for this nomination. It’s because of writers like you, who take the precious time to notice my passion for sharing stories, that encourage me to hit publish every day.
For those of you who have yet to be blessed by her words, Rysie’s blog shares stories that all of us can relate to, whether it’s how to get studying done with the kids, filling up your Christmas shopping cart, a heartfelt entry about her Pa, or an adventure with her hot husband, you’re guaranteed to laugh, agree, and hold your loved ones a little tighter. Please show my dear friend some love and subscribe to her blog.
Without further adieu, allow me to introduce to you, the Liebster Award.
So what is the Liebster award?
The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers, whose work they find interesting, to motivate them and promote them as well. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.
My favorite blog
But in honor of this award, I’d like to highlight another gem that I’ve been reading along with. Yours Vulnerably, The Naked Writer.
Mac, I’d love to nominate you for the Liebster Award. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t your first nomination, but if it is, you absolutely deserve all of these accolades.
I can promise you two things about Mac: she doesn’t actually write while nude — even though that would be totally courageous — and she lives up to her name by writing from her very most vulnerable place.
Every post that I read leaves me with chills and inspires me to be honest with myself and with all of you about my journey. She is an unbelievably talented writer, storyteller, and is a woman that I would love to meet simply to soak up her wisdom and beautiful aura.
Please take the time to learn more about her, and visit a few of my favorite posts. Don’t forget to show her some love and follow her journey by subscribing to the blog and following her social channels!

My goodness guys, you must visit this blog. As a blogger in Canada, #Panic shares vulnerable stories about her daily battles with an old arch-rival — anxiety. Her words will blow you away and her stories may leave you speechless but don’t just take my word for it. Go see for yourself!
I would love to introduce you all to Sarah. She has been one of the most encouraging readers that I’ve had since I got this blog off of the floor so I won’t feel complete without mentioning her on this list. She is a dancer, actor, and even directs operas (super talented right?). She has the gift of making her words leap off of the page — ha! See what I did there? Sarah also loves a good pun so when you visit her page, be sure to leave her a good one in the comments 🙂
Kassandra is a new mommy blogger who shares endearing stories about love, motherhood, and her precious baby girl, Willow. I love that she is so honest in her writing and isn’t afraid to share how being a mother has changed her life. Join me as I support and empower her on this journey as both a writer and matriarch of her little family ❤
Nicki and I literally go so far back that I have to count the years on my fingers to double check! She and I went to grade school together, were band geeks together, share a pretty awesome name, and have since moved to opposite ends of the country to pursue our dreams. Don’t tell her that I told you this, but her dream is much more magical than mine. Nicki’s blog beautifully illustrates the happiest day of a couple’s life — their wedding day. Join her as she shares the unique story of each couple and try your best not to fall in love with all of them!
Meet Yaa Yaa. She’s a lifelong writer who started S&T in August 2011. She’s gifted, interesting, honest, and she focuses her writing on self-love — which is honestly, something we all need to be doing a lot more of. I enjoy her because she is such a supportive blogger and reader, and her entries remind me that I am important, worthy of love, and I should treat myself with the care that I show to others. Stop by her page!
I recently starting following Tia’s blog and I want to add her to this list because I feel like I’ve gotten to know her through her story. She wants to reach the world with her words so I am honored to help share her story in my little world. She has a powerful story and writes directly from her heart and shoots right from the hip! Let’s keep the circle of blogging love going and help her grow in our blogging community ❤
Please take the time to visit each of these lovely bloggers and be sure to keep up with me on my social channels!
